A new tradition will be starting this year at Flower Mound High School aimed at joining together community and school spirit in one festive setting.  For the first time ever, the Homecoming Parade will be held on campus.  The addition of the new field house has allowed school officials the flexibility to act upon an idea created a few years ago. 

The advantages of moving the Homecoming Parade onto campus with a pass and review in front of the home stands inside the football stadium are:

1. Adequate seating
2. Restrooms
3. Concessions
4. PA Announcer
5. Handicap seating
6. Candy can be tossed to the spectators
7. Homecoming court can be announced on the field
8. Winning floats can be awarded and announced
9. More feeder school participants due to shorter walking distance
10. Safer environment
11. Male and female athletic teams will be seated on the field
12. A community pep rally will follow the parade
13. Peters Colony Rd and Old Settlers Rd will not be closed at anytime

We hope you will make plans on joining us on October 6 at 6:30 pm for our first Homecoming Parade at Neal E. Wilson Stadium.

Support the FMHS football team by wearing Western Wear on Friday, September 3. Watch the Jaguars "Round-Up the Broncos" by attending the game at 7:30 at Neal E. Wilson Stadium.

The PSAT exam will be administered at FMHS on October 13.

This is exam is free for all sophomores and they do not need to sign-up.

If you are a Junior and want to take the test, the cost is $13 and you may register September 7 - 10 in Room 1460 or during lunch.

The cheerleaders will be serving up all your favorite food, drinks, and ice cream treats on Saturday, September 11 from 10 am to 5 pm at the Sonic Drive-In at 1171 and Churchill Drive in Flower Mound.

Coming up on October 23 is the annual Jr. Jag Clinic, so save the date for your youngster to come and join the FMHS Cheerleaders and learn cheers, chants, and perform at a home JV football game!! More details will be published soon.

The seating arrangements at the football stadium have changed. The band is now at the end of the stadium next to the new field house (this is the sound end of the field). Next to the band is the student section. The center section is still reserved seating. The sections previously used for students and the band are now general admission seating.

Thursday –     7:45 – 8:30 am
                       11:30 am – 2:00 pm
                       3:15 – 3:45 pm
Friday –          7:45 – 8:30 am

The LISD Athletic Office will sell football tickets Monday-Thursday from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm and on Fridays from 8:00 am - 12:00 Noon only.

If you prefer to drop off orders at school, you will need to pick up a yearbook order form. You may also pick up a yearbook order form from the Front Office or in Room 1210. Return the orders to Room 1210.
