Humanities 2445- The Elizabethan Age

Calling all lovers of Shakespeare!!!! Flower Mound High School is happy to offer a one-of-a-kind course which focuses on the Elizabethan Age in Great Britain (aka the English Renaissance). This cross-curricular humanities class was designed for both the history lover and the lover of literature. At least three Shakespearean dramas will be studied as well as a variety of poetry from the time period (excellent AP prep work). An in depth look at the time period allows the students to better understand the ramifications of the Protestant Reformation on the western world and to see how those affected the artists of the time period. A can’t miss class for anyone interested in late 16^th and early 17^th century history and literature.
