Whether you are a fan of SCIENCE FICTION or not, do I have a class for you! In Science Fiction Studies (course number 2550 in the English section), you will read and watch some of the classics of 19^th and 20^th century science fiction. Bradbury, Wells, Vonnegut, Clarke—All the great sci-fi authors are in one place. In addition, modern science fiction films (ranging from Flash Gordon to X-Men to the Star Wars saga) are studied alongside the literature to give each student a thorough understanding of the evolution of science fiction as an artistic genre. A good time and an insightful class is promised to all who enroll in Science Fiction Studies- Lit 2550.
