Students have many
opportunities to visit with college representatives at FMHS
through classroom or lunch visits. In addition, college
fairs and information sessions are held throughout the DFW metroplex.
Take time to visit these colleges - you may discover
that you are better suited for a certain type of school setting
after visiting with the college reps. Explore all types
- small, large, public, private. Then, make a decision
based on a well-informed exploration of all types of colleges
and universities. Read

Classroom
Visits - Students sign-up in the counseling
office. The student then gives the permission form to their
teacher to attend the on-campus classroom visit. If a test is
being given or crucial information is being taught, however,
permission may be denied by the teacher.
Lunch
Visits - College representatives are available outside the
cafeteria during all 4 lunch periods.
College
"On the Road" Visits - College representatives offer
information sessions in the D/FW metroplex. These events offer students
and their families an opportunity to get information and to meet college representatives.
Sometimes, registration or rsvp is required.
