Items for students to have daily:

• 1.5" Binder w/ dividers
• Notebook paper (no spirals please)
• Graph paper (1/4 inch grid is preferred)
• Pencils
• Red pens for grading
• Highlighter
• 6 inch ruler
• Scientific Calculator or Graphing Calculator (See information below)
• Geometry students also need a protractor and compass

Items to be turned into your Math teacher:

• Each student should bring a 4- pack of AAA batteries to power our graphing calculators (must be in original package)
• Boys bring a 4-pack of dry erase markers
• Girls bring a box of Kleenex and 12 pencils

(Please note that additional supplies may be required by your student’s individual teacher.)

Calculator Recommendations:

All FMHS math teachers have class sets of TI graphing calculators. These calculators are for classroom use only and cannot be taken home. The purchase of a graphing calculator for home use is encouraged, but not mandatory. Students may be required to use classroom calculators for tests, even if they have their own.

If you do decide to purchase your student a graphing calculator, we would strongly recommend one of the following models:

• TI-84 series Graphing Calculator
• TI-Nspire Graphing Calculator w/ TI-84 faceplate - Do not purchase the CAS version

If you purchase a TI calculator, please send your child’s math teacher the bar code from your packaging. We can redeem these for TI technology products for our classrooms. Thanks!
